With over 25 years’ experience, Sarah is a motived IT professional who expertly crafts practical solutions to suit a diverse range of clients in federal, state, local government, and private sector industries. Building on her undergraduate engineering qualifications, Sarah extended her technical skillset with high-level proficiency in the disciplines of information systems, data management, and project management. In the last few years, Sarah has focused on her passion for Enterprise Data Management. Sarah has researched and contributed to the development of data management methodologies aligned with the industry standard DAMA DMBOK2, building and deploying a Data Readiness Assessment and contributed to and delivered data literacy and data management practitioner training.
Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical clients, Sarah is highly skilled at translation and collaboration between business and technical teams. Sarah quickly assimilates strategy, objectives and business needs, identifying risks and issues to compose a sound rationale for a proposed solution or pathway forward.
Sarah has considerable experience preparing project and technical documentation complemented by her Prince2 qualification. Sarah has been exposed to Agile environments, and adopts enabling technologies such as Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, Kanban, Microsoft DevOps and similar technologies. Whilst managing client expectations, Sarah maintains an adaptable and flexible approach. Her focus on business outcomes provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate her effective communications skills and engaging demeanour. With a sound background in all things data, and an ability to rapidly adapt and align to business needs, Sarah quickly earns the trust of her clients.
Sarah is also the Branch Chair for DAMA Canberra chapter.
