Jon Gray has 30 years of computing experience in industry and academia, primarily in Australia and the UK.   From 2006-2013, Jon led a research and development program in Canberra for National ICT Australia Limited (NICTA).  This program focused on the creation of innovative software engineering methods and tools to improve IT project management and facilitate better service delivery in government.   From 2013, Jon worked as CEO and Principal Consultant for a NICTA spin-out company called Performance Assurance Pty Ltd, delivering specialised program/project management services to clients in Australia and the region.  From 2017-2021, Jon worked at Catapult BI, where he performed the roles of Principal Consultant, Chief Data Scientist, and CEO. In December 2021, Jon joined Anchoram Consulting as a Partner where he leads Anchoram’s Data & Information Management Business. Over the past 15 years, Jon has led numerous consulting engagements for NICTA (now called CSIRO-Data61), Performance Assurance, and Catapult BI.   Jon has provided consulting services to most Australian Government departments including Defence (CDG, CIOG, RPDE, DSTO), Australian Taxation Office, Human Services, Immigration, Employment, Health, as well as NSW, VIC, and QLD Governments, and large corporations such as Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Telstra, Optus, and NBN Co.  Jon’s consulting experience encompasses a range of strategic advisory services to C-level executives around ICT Governance, Risk Management, Program Management, Data & Analytics Strategy, Performance Engineering, Design Validation, Project & Program Assurance, and ICT Procurement.  Jon has extensive expertise in the planning, design, and evaluation of many kinds of business transformation initiatives. Jon is also the Vice President of DAMA Australia.
