Zak McGuinness is a senior cyber security governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management professional who has delivered positive outcomes across both the Australian private and public sectors. His working life has spanned over 22 years and has included working in customer service, I.T. audit, I.T. governance, I.T. support, ISO 9001:2015 audits, project management, enterprise risk management and corporate performance planning and reporting. He is known for his collaborative working style, and highly effective written and verbal communication to a range of technical and non-technical audiences. He is also known for being a positive, people focused professional who builds networks and always looks for improvement opportunities. Zak is a qualified information systems security assessor, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and holds qualifications in project management and quality management (ISO 9001:2015), quality management audit (ISO 19011:2011) and service management, hardware, software support qualifications.
