Canberra, Australia – 1 May 2025: Australian data, technology, and cybersecurity services firm, Anchoram Consulting (Anchoram), has announced the next step in its international growth strategy with the launch of Anchoram Canada, marking a major milestone for the firm.

Anchoram will now bring its proven track record of success across critical infrastructure, defence, government, and public service to the Canadian market, at a time when demand for domestic capability and trusted local partnerships is surging.

Anchoram was founded in 2019, and over the past six years, the firm has consistently achieved revenue growth and expanded its team across its data and cybersecurity management practices. The firm has laid the foundation for expansion into the Canadian market by delivering over 70 projects in a short time to a diverse range of sectors, including Australian Federal, State, and Local governments, defence, and critical infrastructure industry. Anchoram already has a presence in India since 2022, where the firm has delivered work for local marquee clients such as Zomato, Blinkit, Business Standard, and Bharat Hotels.

Glenn Ashe, CEO and Co-Founder of Anchoram Consulting, said, “Expanding into Canada marks an exciting new chapter and reflects the strength of our tailored and ethics-led approach to transformation. We see a real opportunity to partner with Canadian organisations who are navigating change and seeking consultants driven by values, such as integrity, empathy, authenticity, and professionalism.”

Harry Cheema, COO and Co-Founder of Anchoram Consulting, said, “When we considered our further expansion plans, Canada was an easy choice. Australia and Canada have enjoyed decades of reciprocal partnerships and are aligned culturally and on policy in many areas, including defence and security, trade, economic growth, migration, transportation, Indigenous, social, cultural, academic, and regional issues.” Harry added, “Our experience in India, which is a very different and difficult market to enter, has already taught us some really good lessons. One of the key considerations was to find a leader whose values align with ours and who can guide us with their experience in the market to ensure we set up well to serve the specific needs of the Canadian business and public sectors.”

Leading the Canadian arm of the business as Canadian President and CEO is Chris Moore, a respected transformational leader within the region for his work across government and enterprise sectors, having prior experience as CIO at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, as well as the City of Edmonton and the City of Brampton. His work in the banking, financial services, and energy sectors will allow Anchoram to continue to grow its unique approach based on its core values.

Chris Moore, President and CEO of Anchoram Canada said, “Anchoram’s commitment to purpose-driven consulting and sustainable outcomes is what sets it apart. I’m looking forward to building a team here that extends these values and continues to drive transformational change to an exciting new market.

“With government organisations across all levels re-evaluating their procurement practices, shifting to a ‘Made in Canada’ approach, Anchoram Canada will serve as a strategic response to these evolving market dynamics.”

The Canadian arm of Anchoram will open its doors on May 1st in Ottawa and Toronto.

Backed by deep experience in cybersecurity, data management, and complex business transformation and regulatory environments, Anchoram Canada is poised to become a key partner to Canadian organisations navigating new technology and operational challenges.
